Ex-Gambia wrestling national team coach laid to rest

Kawsu Sanneh former Gambia Wrestling national team coach has been laid to rest.Kawsu Sanneh

Sanneh passed away on Monday and was buried on the same day at the Kunku cemetery at 5pm.

The cause of death of the former Gambia Wrestling Association technical director hasn’t been explained. Sanneh led Gambia to a gold and bronze medal in Niamey at the Ecowas wrestling championship –Gambia wrestling squad’s biggest feat.

The erstwhile tactician is the first ever Gambian international arbiter to officiate in the Ecowas Super 4-nation hosted by Gambia, according to the GWA.
