What Type Of Work Are Gambian Youths Doing In Europe?



The death of Alhagie Sait of Jimbala Kerr Chendou in the Lower Saloum District, Central River North as a result of road accident in Spain confirms that many Gambian youths are actually working as farmers in the tomato, fruits and other vegetable farms in European countries. They try to reduce the poverty of their families at home by converting earnings from low wages to the Gambian dalasi.
