What Happens When A Candidate Is Rejected By The IEC?


Controversy has struck the very heart of the nomination process in URR. The candidate of the APRC has been rejected but the party claims that this was on a wrong footing and that they will be appealing to the Commission against the rejection of nomination. The Elections Act gives two days for appellants against rejection of nomination to file their appeal with the Commission.
