The 20-year-old Gambian-born earned the pick to the best eleven of the week in the league following his two goal heroics in his team’s defeat last weekend. Manneh, who’s being courted by the Gambia Football Federation to shun America or Canada to play for his country of birth Gambia, struck the back of the net twice but his Whitecaps of a side were left gobsmacked when Sporting City stung back to dramatically win the game 4-3. The weekend’s goals was the former Steve Biko’s sixth goal of the season in as twenty-three appearances this campaign. Manneh’s prolific run of form this season is on the back of suggestions he should up his game in his third year with the caps.
