Speculation continued to be rife as different eye witnesses claimed to know his whereabouts. The mystery is now over. Mr. Makalo, who used to take the members of the ruling party in parliament to task as the MP for Lower Baddibu during the first Republic, is now pronounced dead. The number of people dying in exile is increasing. Some dead bodies are even buried in foreign land. The time has come for the issuing of general amnesty to be considered so that aging Gambians would be among their family members at the latter part of their lives. Justice, humanity and common sense dictate that we put an end to involuntary exile.  ]]>
