HAVE YOU GOT YOUR VOTERS CARD?

on

QUESTION OF THE DAY

HAVE YOU GOT YOUR VOTERS CARD?

This is a question that every Gambian should try to answer.

If you are not registered in 2011 or have just turned 18 years or will be 18 years by December 1, 2016, you should go to the nearest registration centre in your constituency to get your voter’s card free of charge.

On the other hand, if you have lost your voter’s card or check for it and discover that you have either misplaced or found it destroyed, you will have to pay One Hundred Dalasi (D100) to have the voter card replaced.

March 12 is the last day.

Your voter’s card is your power and voice to determine who governs your country.

Every citizen should consider it a right and duty to have a voter’s card.

A citizen without a voter’s card is a citizen without power and say in how his/her country is governed.
