Former Airport Manager’s Case Stalls due to Transfer of Magistrate

By Kebba Jeffang

The false information trial of Borry J. Saidy faced another setback at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court on Monday, February 15, 2016, this time due to the Bory J. Saidyreplacement of Hilary Abeke, the former Principal Magistrate, with Magistrate Aji Amie Jagne.

The matter was therefore adjourned to the 2nd March, 2016 for the Director General of the Banjul International Airport to testify as the 2nd prosecution witness.

Since the case began in early 2015, Madam Jagne will be the third magistrate to preside over it following magistrates Omar Cham and Hilary Abeke.
