We are appealing to the state to help us in facilitating this handing over,” said the brother of late ‘Gosso’. He told this reporter yesterday, Monday, April 06, that the family members are all hopeful that the corpse will soon be given to them after more than three months when he was reported dead on 30 December 2014. “We want to give him a proper burial in keeping with the Muslim religious rites for him to rest in peace,” he said emotionally. It was reported that ‘Gosso’ and others are being kept at the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital (EFSTH) mortuary in Banjul and not yet released to the families for proper burial. Asked whether the authorities have at any time contacted them on the issue, the relative responded in the negative, adding that no one has ever came to their home in relation to their brother’s death.
